I went along with Bonnie’s LOL idea for several years, trying to get along. But, I never was keen on tipping my hat to lurkers. If I had my way, there would not be any lurkers. No one could view OBB unless they made a few comments every year.
Here we are again. This the 10th year OBB has participated in LOL.
Here is our gift you today.

The ABA has designated the first Friday in November as Love Your Lawyer Day. So I guess it’s OK to have the second Thursday as Love Our Lurkers. Or maybe not. Some lawyers are questioning the wisdom of their peers making such a direct appeal for affection. “I think it’s ridiculous. I haven’t seen ‘Love Your Doctor Day’ or ‘Love Your Accountant Day’ or ‘Love Your Spanker Day’.
Should readers feel the urge to comment here on ANY OTHER day, we would welcome it. We will truly love you for it. But today, feel free to lurk.
I assure you that I will not be commenting on the blogs that I read today, just to be commenting. I only comment when I think a post is well done, original, titillating, etc.
I admit I really miss the folks who made regular comments here 1o years back. I guess we bored them and they moved on.

Typical OBB Lurker
We have participated in LOL seven times now. I was never sure why. Went along to get along I suppose. Do we love our lurkers? In a word no. We don’t dislike them either. Blogs are most fun when they are interactive. There are precious few spanking blogs that have any degree of being interactive. I think the DD blogs as a group get more of that.
I sure don’t make many comments. Bacall about never. She does not even have a kink ID. If I think the content on a blog is something unique, or it just hits me in a way that makes me want to comment, I do. Comments here are seldom acknowledged. You say you like what you read/saw, I appreciate it but I don’t feel the need to say thanks for thanking us. That’s like playing the Goodnight game at the front door.

LOL Day seems to have sucked all the air out of the room. The blogs I regularly read have been silent the last two days.
I found it interesting that we got comments from women who have DD blogs. I would really like to know what they find of interest here. I am serious. Perhaps one or more will take the time to educate me. It would be enlightening.
The comment I treasure was posted by a lurker. [All of the other comments were made by fellow bloggers. It seems that LOL Day is more about bloggers than about lurkers]
Yours is one of my favorite blogs. Not because you switch (I don’t), but yours is just the joy of spanking without any reason. No discipline (unless play – Just the fun/play of spanking (and the excitement).

Our own level of participation may be limited because it’s either impossible to post a comment or it’s PIA to try. How so you ask?Well, something has changed in the last few months. All I know is that for an ever increasing number of blogs our signon is not recognized on blogs with a comment box like the one on MBS. Cookie settings? I don’t know, but if you wonder why we no longer comment on your blog, it’s probably because our signon is not honored. The other reason is those damn catcha grams. It’s not worth the effort.
