I wonder what the criteria fro Family Circle’s “most Spankable” judging was? Although I suspect that spanking was at least somewhat mainstream at that point due to the Spencer Spanking Plan.
I suspect that my parents were participants in the SSP although I never caught them, I am pretty sue that my father was spanked at least occasionally by mom – whether that was part of the SSP or just for fun, I don’t know.
