None of the girls in the schools I attended wore outfits like these. Damnit. School uniforms worn by adult women seems almost universal. Bless them. How many of these skirts are sold each year?

Our Bottoms Burn 
I still have my school skirt somewhere but we had to wear them knee length (dare not shorter) but once out of school we used to hoist them up but not as short as some of these girls.

And let's just say you can still wear it. Good for you. There was a parochial school that I had little contact with, but I do recall seeing the girls walking home with the waist of their skirts rolled so that the hem was above the knee. A trick that my grand daughter has learned. Girls love to show off, but are so great at feigning astonishment when called on it.
